Multiply-Bound
Polymer Chains (MBPCs) are polymer chains grafted to a surface
at multiple ends to form loops on the surface and thus provide a
robust method to control the chemical nature of a surface.
We
aim to fully understand the synthesis, attachment,
self-organization, structure, and properties of MBPCs using an
interdisciplinary team with synergistic expertise.
